Hadlock & Fox saddle tree makers

Our client’s father and grandfather founded this saddle tree manufactory in 1962. A saddle tree is the inner, curved frame that gives all saddles their unique shape—from horn to cantle. Sold to investors in 2007, Hadlock & Fox still makes saddle trees using the same innovative methods the founders developed decades ago. An antique store now occupies the original brick, two-story Hadlock & Fox building in this quaint tourist town on the edge of Texas hill country. Original design.
