New York and Liverpool

79"x16"

Late 1800s and early 1900s travel poster design inspired us to make this piece. Industry giants such as Cunard and White Star lines, North German Lloyd and Holland America ruled the high seas before commercial air travel brought an end to the golden age of oceanic passage. These posters brilliantly advertised passage aboard 800-foot-long, luxuriously appointed “Monarchs of the Sea,” and “Greatest Wonders of the Age.” This piece is six and a half feet across with rich color and plenty of vintage detail.

For sale.
